5 Monuments that no longer exist in our nature

Na sua vida, algumas coisas não são mais como antes, e isso é normal. Você ainda se lembra de ontem, porque quer você goste ou não, agora faz parte de sua história de vida. Mas, claro, você teve algum objeto que você não tem mais em sua casa, seja desde a sua infância ou dias adultos, e você se lembra dele com carinho.

É o caso de obras de arte feitas pela civilização que construiu inúmeras maravilhas ao redor do mundo, como castelos, cidades, pirâmides, entre outras; ou artes feitos por natureza que, infelizmente, não está mais em nosso mundo.

Infelizmente, uma obra feita no século XX, oficialmente aberta em 4 de abril de 1973 e criada por Minoru Yamasaki, juntamente com seu amigo Edward Durell Stone, foi destruída por um ataque terrorista. Estou me referindo às chamadas Torres Gêmeas.

Eles foram destruídos em 11 de setembro de 2001, e aqueles que tiveram o prazer de ver-los pessoalmente agora só podem conhecer-los, ou contar aos seus filhos, netos, etc., ao assistir algumas cenas externas de filmes antigos, ver fotos em arquivos públicos ou fotos pessoais.

Mas este é um caso para a do contexto da natureza agir porque foi o homem que fez a destruição. E, infelizmente, nem tudo tem resistido ao teste do tempo, e muito do que foi construído já foi perdido ao longo dos anos.

Lavoisier, um homem à frente de seu tempo, disse: “Na natureza nada é criado, nada está perdido, tudo está transformado”, ele certamente estava testemunhando eventos bizarros, inteligíveis e inpalatáveis em seu tempo. A França é linda, sem dúvida, mas teve seus momentos de euforia, guerras, deixando o povo com apenas uma opção: refazer seu país.

Alguns monumentos, não só em Paris e na época de Lavoisier, ainda tem seus pedacinhos e estão “vivos”, re aos ataques normais da natureza, mas é inevitável não sentir a morte batendo à porta.

Abaixo ver algumas obras épicas que estão desaparecendo com o tempo e que, infelizmente, estão sendo transformadas não pelas mãos dos homens, mas pela própria natureza, o que é impecável em suas decisões.

1. Titanic

O fato é que poucas pessoas sabem, mas o Titanic ainda existe, ou pelo menos, sua carcaça existe, e está lentamente desaparecendo. A causa da “morte real” do Titanic foi revelada após a expedição filmada e feita réplicas 3D da nave. Eles detectam que até o ano de 2030, o navio será devorado por bactérias que se alimentam de metais.

2. The Old Man on the Mountain in New Hampshire

The pain of people who love monuments, history and their wonders was striking on May 3, 2003. “The Old Man on the Mountain in New Hampshire” that fell to the ground due to erosion, causing pain in the faces and souls of many people.
After the event, people paid tributes and left flowers at the base of Cannon Mountain which is located in Franconia Notch State Park.

3. The “Duckbill” or “Thor’s Fist” stone in Oregon

Those who are Marvel fans, know the movie by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby about a very famous character, Thor, son of the god Odin who uses as a weapon his “hammer” and his Megingjord belt, which multiplies his strength.

Nature is so magnificent that it made art unite with reality and built a rock, on the coast of Oregon, USA, known as Duckbill (because of its duck shape), or Thor’s Fist. Unfortunately, it is no longer with us.

Man for years has not known how to enjoy what God builds, and that problem extends to today. The work of art was destroyed not by the sea, the wind, or nature itself, but by some tourists, or rather vandals, who appropriated what does not belong to them.

4.The Nanjing Porcelain Tower in China

The Nanjing Porcelain Tower (Porcelain Pagoda), which in Chinese is written, 南京陶塔; also known as the “Temple of Gratitude” is a historical archaeological site located south of the Yangtze in Nanjing, China.

It was built in the 15th century as a Buddhist pagoda and was destroyed in the 19th century during the Taiping Rebellion. However, the tower is currently under reconstruction.

Historically, The Nanjing Porcelain Tower was designed by the Chinese Emperor Yongle and was listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

But what is the Buddhist Pagoda?

The pagoda is actually a plagiarism of the “Indian stupa,” which is a place where valuable relics were kept and protected from snoopy thieves. After that, Buddha ordered that this type of construction should become the standard in China, and it did.

5. The Finger of God in the Canary Islands, Spain

Once again nature reveals how artistic it is.  El Dedo de Dios” (translated: Finger of God) began to form 14 million years ago. A strange fact is, that the monument was created from the basaltic materials of the area. It was 30 meters high and situated in the Atlantic Ocean in the Canary Islands.

In the 20th century, i.e. not so long ago, there was a tropical storm called Delta in 2005, which broke the thin top of the geological formation causing it to break and fall into the sea. After “El dedo de Dios” broke, the city’s experts did some research and advised not to rebuild it, but to find a way to preserve what remains of the emblematic rock.
