What really differences us from a real genius?

A great step forward :

There are, at least, ten different types of known intelligence, but it was not always believed so. In fact in the past, intelligence had been commonly measured by a I.Q. Test, better known as Intelligence Quotient Test. It focused on numbers and rational-logical capacity of reasoning. In 1983 an American psychologist, Howard Gardner, published his theory of the multiple intelligences, opening new horizons in terms of awareness of the human’s mind. Today these intelligences are accepted. But how to explain the mere fact that society uses criteria which not enough take into consideration, like the amount of these nuances exist in a person? In reverse, rather evident is the society organizations’ aim in having common professional figures made up of thousands of different human beings.Thinking about it, the portion of all real genius’ we had the chance to have in our human history were difficult for society to frame, mainly due to their unique way of being first and reasoning after. They have been pioneers of uncharted paths.Even now, society, through all of its institutions, creates the conditions to train experts in wide range of professions. With years fully dedicated to traineeship and hard studies. How much does geniality coincide with pre-established rules? Could a genius abide by formalities in order to be considered as such? It’s thought that what makes geniality, is something innate, more developed or even different in that specific person. The genius is supposed to be whoever can read between the lines and comprehend greater realities and truths than a normal person.

Ten types of intelligence:

Howard Gardner recognized five types of intelligence to add to the two already well-assessed in society, namely, the logical mathematical and the verbal linguistic; introducing the bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, visual-spatial, intrapersonal, musical and naturalistic intelligence.Further research conducted by Gardner claimed the existence of three other forms of intelligence that had sank their roots a long time ago. The spiritual, existential and moral. The possibility of having many more is not excluded…In life, 0 to 5 years of age is the most important period. This is when the neural connections in the brain form the base structure that will be the foundation for the rest of one’s life. From the age of 6 on, there will be no limits for a person to embrace as many activities as possible in order to develop their talents…Being unsure of our predispositions could cause us to be glib every time we need to make an important decision. On the other hand, the knowledge of our strengths should entail a better reading key useful whenever required.

The genius in historical times:

Regarding to the principle, assume that the genius must be whoever is able to enter a specific domain in a much deeper way than anyone else. With no rigidity of method, because of a natural predisposition, to create new formulas and rules to which people will have to abide by. In other words, what is generally considered difficult is simple and obvious for the genius without the necessity of further investigations or engagements. From it, the skill to see clearly and create new speculations on the subject. It mostly depends on the genetic structure of the brain, but the quantity of stimulation that a specific area is submitted to also plays an important role in its development.Due to some research conducted by scientist, Einstein’s brain had more developed connections between the two hemispheres than other men’s brains’ taken in analysis. These connections in the German physicist allowed a larger using of the brain, and it boasted a greater functionality.Cognitively the right part dominates functions like imagination, creativity and space skills while the left dominates functions are writing, reasoning and calculating.

The genius in philosophy:                                                                                                                                               Is genius the outcome of great learning? Philosophy can help us shed some light.

We can’t mix up the two things, even if they are possibly correlated. The genius, in Latin genium, stemming from ingenium, something “sharp in its intellect” is a kind of eureka personification. An unforeseen revelation coming out from nowhere; A sudden bolt in a clear sky. It encounters its opposite in the studium. Therefore, the learning acquired through perseverance aiming to improve determined skills .The two together could give evidence to people like Leonardo Da Vinci considered as the perfect genius master of several scientific disciplines and also a creator, artist and innovator all at one time.

Arguing what geniality really is:

To clarify what brings a person to become a genius, it doesn’t matter whatever be the level or the timing in that particular field, but to be a genius is the portentous ability to solve problems. To anticipate results while having incomplete information. For example, starting from point A and reaching point C without stopping at point B, by applying manners of deduction never contemplated before.Nevertheless the right amount of worth goes to the application because history teaches us that the best results require several tries to be attempted.Even a genius could not be able to make any difference if there weren’t any willing to do it within him.

Summary:

To finalize I would say that the ‘genius’ nowadays is, more than ever, difficult to size because of its complexity and the wide range in which it can operate; so a special emphasis deserves the intelligence to admit that a myriad of ways might exist to try to measure it and that we as human being are just at the beginning of truly comprehending what our potential is.
