6 Music-Related Series That May Fuel You With Motivation To Practice In Quarantine

Collectively,  perhaps one of the most frequent problems that we face is trying to decide what to watch during the quarantine . With this list , we aim to offer the reader several shows all music-related to enjoy. Especially if one is interested in music -professionally or inexpertly- but not yet have found any motivation to practice at all , watching these shows is most likely to help gain their motivation back and additionally , meet the need of entertainment . That being said , these shows are captivating enough to also be enjoyed by those who are only the auditors of music. Some being dramas , some being documenteries and some being the interception of the both , these shows spark the interest of both non-musicians and musicians . Either way , hopefully this list is going to help you find the series that you have been looking to watch .

1. The Eddy   

Directed by Jack Thorne , this French – American musical drama revolves around a jazz club in Paris and everyday problems that comes with running the club. The show consists of 8 episodes and each filled with storylines for us to get to know the characters better. Additionally , it portrays the lives of musicians in kind of realistic , kind of comedic and sometimes tragic ways . The beautiful scenery of Paris is an another pro of the series along with musical richness.

2.  Mozart In The Jungle

Ever wondered how the rehearsals of the classical music orchestras are done and what it is like to go on in life as a classical orchestra member? If yes , then this show may be for you. The series were adapted by the book Mozart In The Jungle : Sex, Drugs and Classical Music by the Obua player Blair Tindall. We get ourselves involved in this enamorous and ambitious world of classical music by the main character  Hailey Rutledge who is an obuist and lives in New York . We get to experience the lives of these musicians through this comedic dram story.

3.  Lost&Found Music Studios

This canadian musical-drama revolves around the lives of teenage musicians where they attend an after-school program at the Lost&Found Music Studios to practice and improve their skills. Bonded by friendship and music , these young musicians are a lot like the regular teens ,their struggles are the same as any other teen. If you are into teen drama series and musical dramas , this show might be for you.

4.  Sinatra : All or Nothing at All

Directed by Alex Gibney , this TV miniseries are about the life of the legendary singer Frank Sinatra . The series seem as a biography , however it is also very up-close and personel as well . It includes beautiful memories of the singer from his friends and family . If you are a fan of Sinatra himself and looking to watch a documentery , this show may be for you.

 

5.  Glee

This musical show is pretty popular as you probably heard of it. This series is also another teenage comedy-drama-musical on the list. It revolves around high school students who are in choirs, these choirs have rivalry between them. One of the reasons this show was pretty popular was their fun covers of varities of songs such as ‘i will survive’ by Gloria Gaynor, ‘la isla bonita’ by Madonna, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ by Fergie and many more. If you are a fan of musical theatre , then most likely this show is for you.

6.  Seven Ages of Rock (miniseries)

Seven Ages of Rock is a miniseries that consists of 7 episodes. The style of the series is more of a documentary that explores the history and the development of rock genre.Each episode is filled with insights and how legedry artists such as Jimi Hendrix effected the rock scene in the world . This show is wonderful for Rock&Roll enthusiasts twho wants to dive deeper into the genre and learn its history as well.
