Daddy Issues.
Ever since this ”daddy issues” phrase had entered the pop-culture, people have inculcated it for humiliating and used it for their bad behaviors. What is ”daddy issues”? Why does it play such an important role in personal and social un-development?

Daddy issues occur when the child has been raised without a father figure. This is crucial; it does not have to be a biological father, a person who is acknowledged as a father figure is an equivalent.
As toddlers, life is too hard for them. They are fragile and cannot do any simple task because life is really complex. A full-grown man can make their life easier; they can swim without arm floats, go to bed after them, and wake up earlier, while toddlers cannot even ride tricycles, grown-ups can drive vehicles, and repair stuff. Hence, toddlers’ fragile life becomes breezier by the sense of security that the father figure brings into being.

A father figure has always been impactful in history, mythology, and religion.
- Zeus is the father of men and gods.
- God is the father of Jesus.
- Odin is the Allfather, the father of all gods.
- The Constitution’s founders are called The Founding Fathers.
”A kid who is raised in the absence of the ideal father figure has 5 types of nascency”, states Therapist Linda Nielsen.
- They rarely felt loved, accepted, or respected by their dad when they were growing up.
- Even when they did feel loved, they felt to be perfect, not less. If not, they are not good enough in fathers’ eyes moreover in their own eyes.
- When he took your mistakes and imperfections as a blow to his self-esteem or his public image, he may have often reacted as they were unloved and unlovable.
- They were seldom allowed to express their anger to their father or to openly and comfortably argue and disagree with him.
- The most manipulated sick thought of all, ”It is a man’s responsibility to make the woman he loves happy and satisfied with her life.” or the Prince Charming Syndrome (Most likely to be the prince that Machiavelli idolized).

A long tradition of sociological research has examined the effects of divorce and father absence on offspring’s economic and social-emotional well-being throughout the life course. Overall, this work has documented a negative association between living apart from a father and multiple domains of offspring well-being, including education, mental health, family relationships, and even labor market outcomes.
As the information that I provided above, I hope that none of my readers use this knowledge to hurt the broken. Be aware of the people who have Daddy Issues and be kind to them.
