A Little Glimpse Into Prague

They say that the aged of everything is a bit enjoyable… Like wine, city, people. In my opinion, Prague is the only city where years have added beauty and character. With its streets, houses, and living sculptures, Prague is an old but proud city. Embracing a great writer like Kafka, Prague is home to many famous museums and artworks. Although my first trip to Prague was 4 years ago, I still feel excited as I went yesterday. My first meeting with the city was on a snowy December night.

Expérience in Prague

Christmas was approaching and the weather was giving you the warmth of cold. Prague greeted me with a sad but warm smile, but unfortunately, I didn’t realize it at that moment because I was sick. The next day, at the first light of the morning (it’s really 6 o’clock), we went out to explore Prague. The roads and streets were empty. It was a pleasure to see the most visited Charles Bridge as an empty, and we did it with my sister. We walked arm in arm against the Vltava River, touching upon the story and experiences of Charles Bridge.

After we finished it, we came across the astronomical clock that winked at you from the 8th century, the world’s first astronomical clock. This hour tells you a Bible teaching every hour with different figures and, moreover, it is a complete masterpiece with its appearance.

You can make your day enjoyable with its churches, small corridors, and street artists in the square called Old Town. Of course, having a coffee in Kafka Cafe will make you feel like you are with Kafka and you will find yourself in this fabulous dream. When I saw that even the street lights in Prague are from the 17th century and even the spider webs on them were not removed, I said yes, this city is still in use as it was left.

Especially all the things you will see while going to Prague Castle will bring you to the peaks of your artistic taste. St. Vitus Cathedral, which took 700 years to build, literally reminds you of how important architecture is. Those who are interested in Gothic architecture like me will love this cathedral. Prague awaits you with all its beauty. what are you waiting for?
