Human Psychology

This article discusses human psychology, and covers points about the nature of being. It also offers advice about methods for a improving psychologically and becoming a better version of yourself.

Introducing Psychology and the Human Experience:

Every individual in this world has his/her perspectives in life. Basically, psychology is well integrated into everyday lives. To briefly introduce the etymology of the term Psychology, it is a Greek word which means  the explanation of life. This article surveys human nature within different situations that people come across in their daily lives. Our daily routine is similar. Its because our mind and brain are well connected to compute in the same and consistent manner.

For example, the fact that the alarm goes off at 9:00 am every day except holidays. This is a continuous process in one’s life. Human mentality functions in a similar manner with everyone. We all need food and shelter. We work towards guaranteeing a better, more fruitful future. In a way, humanity works towards self-designing their own lives. Of course, God has written a script for everyone in which we have to go through the process. This world has lots to offer, and it’s important to do good as per the scripture as God has voiced. Human beings are fallible, they make mistakes in life and so failures are the stepping stone towards the success.

Life is an easy mode of being, but people have made it complicated.

On Positive & Negative Thoughts:

Personally, I believe mankind is a mixture of positivity and negativity. It reflects our minds, which are not stable all the time. People get negative thoughts which make them feel stressed and anxious about life. Many people around the world might be experiencing this. Mental health and inner peace are things sometimes overlooked by individuals. Instead, they are driven by money, and everyone seems to be attempting to make more money, that is what drives them in life. Another more natural entity which satisfies people is food. Once you’ve had a meal, you will feel satisfied and content for some time. These are all the basic positives and negatives of the human experience.

“Genuine feelings cannot be produced, nor can they be eradicated… the body sticks to the facts.” –Alice Miller

As this beautiful quote mentions, human beings have feelings for everything. It works in the same way as our senses. We feel tired or fear. Smell perfume or the sea. Pet animals or scratch our skin. Feel the surrounding nature, whether the sunshine or the rain. In this way, individuals are exposed to good and bad elements and events in their daily life. For example, smoking and drinking may give pleasure but it may harm you or others around you.

We live in a cruel world. Where some people only care about their own lives to be filled with self-betterment. No one really cares about anyone/anything. Just they want to be happy. Thus, we are in a self-centered world. This isn’t criticism, rather an observation. Truth and reality may represent bitter experiences.

How can one Improve: Psychological Well Being?

Emotional health is very important. To attain and maintain this, there are very important steps one must follow and pursue to make ourselves happy in our daily life. Afterall, our time in this world as being are only depleting moments compared to geological time, and so we must appreciate it. Once you leave this world, People may or may not speak about you, or about the things you were to them when you were alive.

This is an important thing to note to calm yourself down, that whatever happens in life happens for a reason. Whether it is good or bad, we ought to just go with the flow. We must develop a positive thinking process to reach mental peace. It is a very unique experience when you set the mind in a positive way. Think that whatever happens is for a good reason, and may make you a better person. Leave the past, live the present and wait for the future. Nobody really knows what will happen to us tomorrow. Live the moment to the fullest. Be yourself. Read, write and watch movies, this helps with mental relaxation. After a stressful day one can resort to any activity they desire, and use to help them recuperate. The best way is to meditate and pray for your daily needs and to ask for forgiveness of sin. Recall positive life events, perform acts of kindness , practice mindfulness , express gratitude , identify your strengths , practice forgiveness & fostering relationships.
