Squid Game Review

Squid Game is currently on its way to becoming Netflix’s most popular show. Since the day it came out, it has not dropped out of the list of most watched shows, and it does not seem likely to decrease in popularity any time soon. What would you do to earn money? Your Squid Game series review is here!

Seong-gi Hun is a man up to his neck in debt. In fact, if he cannot pay his debts, his body will even lose its immunity and become vulnerable. Seong-gi Hun, who is divorced from his wife, has a 10-year-old daughter, and things are not going well on that front either. As you will see in the show, he has exhausted all possible solutions one by one. His life changes with an offer made by a man who came up to him on the subway one evening. This mysterious man is making him the offer of his life – offering him the opportunity to earn money in exchange for playing games! Although he initially refuses, Seong-gi Hun learns that he can take his ex-wife’s daughter and move to America when he gets home, so he desperately accepts this opportunity to enter the game. Thus, he takes his place in the game as the 456th competitor. Even though the contestants who opened their eyes in a comfortable place in the KYK dormitory thought that they would just make money by playing easy children’s games, it turns out that there will be no mercy for those who will be eliminated in this game. Simply put, if you lose, you are dead!

Although the length of each episode is a little long, the show remains a flowing production. Squid Game is a mixture of Hunger Games and another Netflix original, Alice in Borderland, yet it is still a series with its own originality. Although it soon lost the mystery it was protecting, towards the middle of the series, viewers can accept this situation as normal because there are few episodes, so the story line never becomes tedious or drawn-out. Still, there are some confusing and thought-provoking scenes, which pique your curiosity and encourage you to keep watching more and more episodes of the show. In terms of its basic subject matter, the human condition, the show does a good job of presenting greed for money and human desperation. Nobody’s life will get better when they leave this game. So the game must go on. Even if the tempo drops from time to time, viewers will not break away from the series, which is one of the most successful aspects of the production.

The sequel to Squid Game will definitely come soon; Netflix doesn’t let go of such popular series. If you are thinking of what to watch on the weekend, this will definitely be a good choice: Real love still exists: “Chungking Express” by Wong Kar-Wai

It is like a medicine for those who are looking for a different kind of TV series. Koreans know this.
