What is better than supporting companies that do not promote making their products through the suffering of another being? This writing is for make-up lovers. I want to share some of the brands that use clean ingredients and do not test on animals.
Make-up can be a really important part of many people’s daily routine. It gives us the chance to be creative and express ourselves; it’s fun and enhances our natural beauty. I think it’s important to be responsible about where we put our money and about which companies get successful, especially if their practices are not the best ones.
E.L.F.
The first brand that I want to talk about is E.L.F, this is one of the most popular and commercial make-up brands out there -which is amazing-. None of ELF’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world. And another good part is that it is a commonly affordable brand to buy from. AXIOLOGY
This is a brand a little more on the luxury side, but still worth every penny. Their products are made from 100% natural ingredients, including their pigments and they have a great variety of lipsticks. This is something important to mention: the brand is focused only on lip products at the moment but that doesn’t stop them from creating the most environmentally friendly crayons and balmies for the lips in many different colors! Axiology is crafted from organic vegan ingredients that leave no trace on the planet.
AESOP
This brand is more on the skincare type of products and they are incredible. They offer skin, hair, and body formulations that bring a nice relaxing experience to the person using them. The company was founded in 1987 and based in Melbourne but they have many stores all over the world. They focus on plant-based ingredients and the best quality. They really care about the design of their products and their sustainability as well. A great option.
AETHER BEAUTY
This is one of the most beautiful brands I have ever seen. Their variety is just as large as E.L.F’s. They have award-winning formulas, one of their ingredients is a natural oil that hydrates the skin; they have banned over 2,500 toxic ingredients from their products. They are a conscious company that cares about sustainability and their packaging is made from recycled materials while using carbon-neutral shipping methods.
All of these brands care about the overall health of their customer’s skin and they care about the planet and compassion. Now that you are aware of some of the best vegan make-up brands out there, are you willing to give them a try?
